The new Weckman WS 160MGH multipurpose trailer is a robust and durable tractor trailer featuring a hydraulic high-lift tailgate. It is in a class of its own for durability and usability. Fixed-side tractor trailers for general use
In Weckman trailers, the side structure ensures a tight seal even for the finest materials.
The sides of these general-purpose trailers are durable and maintain their shape perfectly. Depending on the model, the sides are made of 4–5 mm thick steel, and their support structure allows for natural flexibility. This flexibility prevents permanent deformation. The top edge reinforcement beam further increases sturdiness.
The standard side height for multipurpose trailers is 50–80 cm. The load volume can be increased with an optional grain cassette.
Sturdy frame, durable and spacious cargo box
Thanks to the torsionally rigid frame and cargo box structure, the trailer withstands heavy loads and enjoys an extended service life. The frame and bed runners are manufactured from hollow section beams. The thick floor plate withstands the rigors of loading. The interior surface of the cargo box is smooth, which reduces material sticking to the surface.
On all models, the tailgate is a hydraulically lowering 'kami' tailgate. The hydraulic tailgate is equipped with a double lock valve. As an optional extra, a gravity-activated high-lift gravel gate is available for tipping.
The frame components are dip-painted, ensuring the paint covers the inside of the hollow section beams to prevent rusting. The cargo box is spray-painted. The long drawbar improves maneuverability even when driving with dual wheels. The wheels are equipped with high-quality FAD axles.

The kami tailgate, innovated by Weckman, enables the transport of even large-volume items. The kami tailgate facilitates the transport of machinery, eliminating the need for separate ramps. A well-protected cylinder ensures a long and carefree service life. The tested, adjustable structure ensures the safe and controlled unloading of the cargo.
Sturdy bogie with high ground clearance
The tractor trailers feature a symmetrical 'climbing bogie' structure, where the center axle is lower than the hub axles, allowing the trailer to climb easily over obstacles while stabilizing the load. The trailers have high ground clearance because the robust bogie design does not require additional supports. The pivot is equipped with ball bearings.
