The Weckman KS mono-pitch equipment shelter serves as an affordable storage space and protective canopy for machinery and equipment. On farms, they are used as machinery shelters, in business operations as outdoor storage, and in housing associations as carports. The modular structure allows the shelter to be adapted to capacity requirements or available building space. The equipment shelter can also be positioned to surround an industrial building. Standard deliveries of equipment buildings and various protective canopies have short delivery times.
The standard range includes 8, 10, and 12-meter shelters. The shelters have a 6m frame spacing, allowing the shelter length to be selected in 6m increments. Free height at the rear corner of the shelter is 3.5m.

The mono-pitch building features a strong steel tube frame and a long front overhang (0.5 m) designed for demanding Finnish conditions. The safety of Weckman shelters is based on Weckman’s decades of experience in building for Finland’s demanding snowy conditions.
The equipment shelter can be designed entirely according to the customer’s usage requirements: frame spacing, free height, frame depth. This allows cost-effectiveness to be optimized.

Semi-transparent light panels are available for non-insulated buildings, for both roofs and walls. Light panels are manufactured from fiberglass-reinforced polyester and are compatible with roof and wall panel profiles.
Buildings are available with sliding and personnel doors in various sizes.
Sliding Doors
Weckman sliding doors are easy to install because the bracket fasteners are pre-welded to the building columns at the factory. To achieve a tight structure, the side panel strips of the door can be cut so that the strip starts from the floor.
Two Sliding Doors on the Same Track
With the new door track system, two doors can be installed side by side on the same track. This replaces the previous system that required two parallel tracks. With one track, the doors slide past each other. A second door can also be added later.

Personnel and Additional Doors Also Afterwards
A separate personnel door or additional door can also be installed in an existing Weckman building.
