Load-Bearing Structures and Intermediate Floors
Self-supporting Weckman profiled sheets are safe, CE-marked, and subject to continuous quality control (VTT). They are used as waterproof roofs or as load-bearing structures in upper and intermediate floors and walls, for example in halls, commercial spaces, and industrial buildings. Thanks to their high load-bearing capacity, the sheets are even suitable as concrete casting molds.

Weckman steel profiled sheets create impressive and durable facade cladding. The sheets are typically used in warehouse, industrial, and production buildings where expressive, maintenance-free, and cost-effective wall surfaces are desired quickly.
Customized Halls Delivered Ready-Made
We manufacture custom-dimensioned steel-framed prefabricated halls for versatile applications. The basic range includes gable-roofed cold halls, thermally insulated halls, mono-pitch roofed halls, and livestock barns. Thanks to their adaptability, the halls can be modified according to usage needs, for example with sliding doors or high and wide door openings.
Tractor Trailers for Versatile Production Work
Our work, which began over 250 years ago, to manufacture products and tools for Finland’s harsh natural conditions continues today with the production of Weckman tractor trailers. Our steel-hard expertise ensures that trailers developed for versatile agricultural and forestry transport needs and versatile production work withstand all conditions—from generation to generation.
Weckman Group
Weckman Steel Oy manages the international Weckman Group. The Group includes Weckman Steel Oy and AS ESCO Weckman Eesti. The Group’s associated companies include JHW-Profiles GmbH in Germany and the Finnish Orima-Tuote Oy, which manufactures roof safety products and rainwater systems. Exports reach nearly 20 countries, and Weckman has representation in approximately twenty different countries.
Weckman Steel Oy Vierumäki
The Weckman family’s steel expertise originated as early as 1750, when the first steel blacksmith products were forged in the Weckman workshop. Agricultural trailer production began in the 1950s. Industrial mass production gained momentum when the Weckman brothers, Industrial Counselor Pekka Weckman and Matti Weckman, founded Weckmanin Konepaja Oy in 1962 in Vierumäki, in the village of Härkälä. In 1997, as operations became strongly internationalized, the company name was changed to Weckman Steel Oy. At our factory halfway between Lahti and Heinola, along good transport connections, we manufacture all steel roofing sheets and related roofing accessories. In Vierumäki, we also manufacture steel sheets for wall cladding, load-bearing steel structures for professional construction, as well as halls and tractor trailers. Approximately 30,000 m² of heated production space is used for steel product manufacturing. The factory’s own transport department comprises 9 trucks with drivers.
Weckman Steel Oy Iisalmi
Weckman Steel Oy’s Iisalmi factory began operations in 1984. The approximately 5,000 m² production facilities in Iisalmi focus on the production of the most purchased basic profiles and product distribution to Northern Finland.
