Opening sides with grain hatch

The side structure of Weckman trailers ensures tightness even for finer-grained materials.

Thanks to the grain sides and extension sides installed separately on top of the standard sides, handling the sides is easy. With the grain sides, the rear side is 2-piece and can be opened completely or partially. The rear side features a reliable 4-point locking mechanism and a lockable grain hatch as standard. The sides are manufactured from 2 mm thick Docol 420 steel.

The standard height of the grain trailer sides is 40 or 50 cm depending on the model. Grain and extension sides are available as optional equipment to increase the side height and platform volume.

Sturdy steps on the front side and removable steps inside the platform provide convenience and safety.

Durable frame, spacious platform

Thanks to the torsionally rigid frame and platform structure, the trailer withstands even heavy loads, thus extending the trailer’s service life. The frame and platform runners are manufactured from tubular beams. The thick bottom plate withstands loading of the trailer. All parts of the frame and platform are dip-painted, so the paint also covers the inside of the frame’s tubular beam and prevents rusting.

The long drawbar (on model WS130 G) improves the trailer’s maneuverability even when driving with dual wheels. Hydraulic hoses and electrical cables run inside the drawbar, protected from damage.

Sturdy bogie with high ground clearance

The trailer bogie structure is a symmetrical “creeping bogie,” where the center axle is lower than the hub axles, allowing the trailer to rise smoothly over obstacles while stabilizing the load during transport. Weckman trailers have high ground clearance because the robust bogie structure does not require additional supports.
